The end of the car park on Malostranské náměstí is just the first step
The car park that now stands on Malostranské náměstí should be closed on 1st July 2016. However, this is not enough to properly revitalise this unique area.

Petr Hlaváček, Director of IPR Prague, adds: “The closure of the car park at the bottom end of Malostranské náměstí is just the first step. The priority is still to completely refurbish the square – by completing the design that won the architectural competition and putting it into practice. The work will redesign the square for pedestrians, cars and public transport, and should also create a classy area for outdoor exhibitions and concerts.”
