International Collaboration in Participation
Cities around the world face many of the same challenges: housing, mobility, well-designed public space, climate change and the need to involve residents in decisions that affect their daily lives. For this reason, we believe that international collaboration is an essential part of participatory planning.
We are always open to international collaboration and welcome opportunities to exchange knowledge, participate in joint projects and conferences, host study visits, and connect with cities and organizations working in participation and urban development. Through cooperation, we can learn from one another and help create better cities for everyone.
Over the past years, we have participated in projects and conferences in Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, and Montenegro, where we shared our experience, methods and projects. We have also welcomed delegations from around the world – such as US researchers, Singaporean youth workers or Danish librarians – in Prague for exchanges on participation and working with the public.
