Step 10 – Final Design Presentation
10.1 Description and objective
This step concludes the entire participation process. Together with the author, you will present the final version of the project to local residents and stakeholders. The format depends on the type of project and your creativity – it can be an exhibition in a public space, a participatory booth or container, or even an insert in the city district’s newspaper.
If time allows, it is highly valuable to organize an in-person meeting with local residents and key stakeholders, especially those who have been involved from the start. The aim is to ensure that the widest possible audience is informed about the project’s outcome. Remember: the presentation of the final proposal must be included in both the communication plan and the budget defined in Step 5.

10.4 Activities for success
A. Update the communication plan
Review and refine the communication plan to reflect the level of public interest and experience gained during the project. Coordinate with the author and the communication department to agree on the most suitable format for presenting the final proposal.
B. Present the final proposal to the public
In collaboration with the author, prepare all activities connected with the presentation – whether in open spaces or at community events. Plan the design of graphics and printed materials, and secure all necessary permits (e.g., for exhibition panels or a participatory container). Arrange venues and, if needed, external providers (for moderation or facilitation). The presentation should not only inform but also engage and attract attention.
10.5 Outcomes
Outputs may vary depending on the project. Recommended:
Output 10: Presentation of the final proposal
10.6 Timeframe
4 – 8 weeks (up to 3 months including preparation)
10.7 Keep in mind
Remember to allocate sufficient funds in the project budget for the final presentation – such as exhibition panels and site permits, or rental of venues and moderators.
